Police in New Westminster say a section of 6th Street is closed Tuesday morning due to an ongoing undisclosed incident.

Details are limited, but 6th Street between 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue is taped off as police have gathered around a gas station.

Drivers are encouraged to take 4th or 8th streets to avoid the closure.
