A child has died after being hit by a large commercial cube van in Surrey Friday.
The nine-year-old had been taken to hospital in life-threatening condition after the crash, which took place near 81st Avenue and 134th Street in the city’s Newton Neighbourhood, the Surrey Police Service (SPS) said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The driver is cooperating with police.
