“Two elderly occupants were extracted by emergency responders and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” Mounties described Tuesday.
In contrast, BC Emergency Health Services says paramedics transported two patients in “serious condition.”
Images from the scene show a mid-sized vehicle, flipped onto its roof, below a damaged metal fence along the exterior of an open-air parkade.

Police say investigators are still working to determine the circumstances of the crash and the vehicle occupants’ roles in it.
Debris from the crash was still visible Tuesday morning.
