“Witnesses intervened and rendered first aid to the victim, prior to police arrival,” said a VPD statement.

The victim was reportedly transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they do not believe the incident was random, and a suspect was arrested outside the club Monday.

A 31-year-old Delta resident is now facing a charge of aggravated assault in relation to the incident.

Records show a person with the same name as the suspect is expected in court late Monday afternoon and again on Jan. 26, 2026.
