The Vancouver Police Department says officers responded to reports of multiple people stabbed along the seawall near Yaletown’s David Lam Park on the morning of Oct. 10, 2025.
When emergency crews arrived, they found three victims with minor stab wounds. The victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Four additional assault victims were later identified, including one person who was stabbed.
On Oct. 14, police arrested Hamelin, who was initially charged with one count of assault.
She was later charged with an additional count of assault and four counts of assault with a weapon.
