Police are investigating after a train struck and killed a pedestrian in Langley Township Thursday night.
The Langley RCMP says it responded to reports of the collision near Derby Hills Park and the 208 Street rail crossing just before 8 p.m.

Mounties say the victim died before first responders could rush them to hospital.
“Tragically the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.

Police are seeking witnesses to the collision.
