One caller says she saw at least 9 police cruisers at the scene.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) has confirmed to 1130 NewsRadio that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been deployed to the section of 176th Street.

Meantime, Surrey Fire Services confirm they responded to two separate incidents in the same general area as the fatal incident on Tuesday afternoon.
Crews were called out to a vehicle fire near 191st Street and 40th Avenue.
Police would not directly confirm if those two scenes are related, but said more information would be released about both incidents later Tuesday evening.
Firefighters also confirmed that they were still working to extinguish a fire at a two-level single-family home near the intersection of 176h Street and 16th Avenue as of 4:30 p.m.
Crews said nobody was injured and they had the blaze under control.
SFS was unable to confirm whether the house fire was related to the other incidents.
While details are slim now, traffic delays are reported in the area, with 176 Street down to one lane in the northbound direction.
1130 NewsRadio has reached out to the SPS for more information.
More to come.
