The Burnaby RCMP says that it has arrested a 64-year-old man in connection with a bank robbery in September last year.
While executing a search warrant on Jan. 14 in the south end of the city, officers made the arrest and also seized two firearms.

The suspect allegedly broke into a bank in the Kingsway and Edmonds Street area on Sept. 26, 2025, using a gun.
Before police arrived, the suspect had left the scene.
Police did not disclose what the suspect stole or if there were injuries as a result of the armed robbery.
The Burnaby RCMP’s Strike Force Unit launched an investigation, which led to the arrest.
