A significant police presence has been reported in a Burnaby neighbourhood.

Several callers to 1130 NewsRadio report seeing multiple police vehicles in the area of Canada Way and Smith Avenue.
The Burnaby RCMP is asking the public to avoid the area.
“Police are on scene on Canada Way between Boundary Road and Curle Avenue due to an active investigation,” Mounties said on social media.
