The Langley RCMP says it is investigating after an alleged robbery at Willowbrook Mall that resulted in a youth being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers were called to the shopping centre, located on Fraser Highway near 197th Street, shortly after 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, they found a young victim who appeared to have been assaulted with a weapon.
“At this time, there is no ongoing risk to the public as this incident appears to be targeted,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.
