The New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) is asking the public for information on a pepper spray incident Wednesday night.
Police say that two men were pepper-sprayed next to a parkade entrance to a gym near the Westminster Centre on 6th Street around 7 p.m.

The person who called 911 told officers that he saw “a group of approximately four men.”
That group allegedly sprayed two other men with the substance.
The victims were treated by the New Westminster Fire and Rescue Service.
Investigators were not yet able to say if the suspects and victims are familiar with each other.
