Three teens were arrested Sunday evening after a loaded handgun was found in the vehicle they were travelling in.
Vancouver Police Deputy Chief Alison Laurin said in a post on X that officers were patrolling near Gastown when they stopped a 17-year-old driver with two teenage passengers in the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found a 9 mm handgun under the driver seat, along with cannabis and prescription pills.
All three teens were arrested and released into the custody of their parents.
