The hold-and-secure advisories implemented at two high schools in Coquitlam Thursday morning have now been lifted, the school district has confirmed.
The advisory was put in place Thursday morning, following a similar incident at two schools in Port Moody Wednesday.
The two schools included were Centennial and Gleneagle Secondary.
“Hold and Secure advisories at Centennial and Gleneagle have been lifted,” School District 43 posted online.

RCMP Insp. Todd Balaban said the schools received threats delivered by phone, and investigators are working “tirelessly” to gather evidence to advance the investigation.
He said rumours of the threats have been circling online which are impeding the investigation.
“We recognize incidents of this nature can be concerning to our community and can have an impact on the sense of safety and security,” Sgt. Adriana O’Malley said. “We want to assure you we are working collaboratively with the school district as well as the affected schools to address these ongoing incidents.”
“Our investigators are working around the clock to advance these investigations and identify those involved.”
Balaban said police believe there is a connection between the incidents in Coquitlam and Port Moody.
