The driver provided a breath sample reading two and a half times the legal limit.

Police say that multiple callers reported the driver after he had struck two vehicles in the Langley area and fled the scene.

Before officers located the driver on Highway 11, the same vehicle was seen “driving erratically” on Bradner Road, police say.

None of the children was injured.

“There is no excuse, and there is no scenario where it’s worth the risk,” the Abby PD said.

This year alone, the Abby PD has stopped 145 Impaired Drivers on the city’s roads.
