Highway 17 is closed to westbound traffic Wednesday afternoon after reports of a multi-vehicle crash in Surrey’s Fraser Heights area.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says emergency crews are responding to the crash, and the westbound lanes are closed starting from 104 Avenue.

Eastbound traffic has been reduced to one lane.
Police are advising people to avoid the area for at least the next hour while they investigate.
Drivers can take 104 Avenue or 96 Avenue to avoid delays.
In an initial news release, the SPS says that a semi-truck and two cars had been involved in the collision.
“The BC Emergency Health Services transported two people to an area hospital in stable condition,” police added.
