A business in Surrey’s Cloverdale area was the target of gunfire in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) responded to reports of shots fired on Production Boulevard near 54 Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

Officers reportedly discovered damage to the business, but no one was hurt.
Police have not linked the shooting to extortion, adding that the motive is “under investigation.”
