Shortly before 3 a.m. shots were reported fired into a Delta residence in the 11200-block of 92A Avenue.

Officers found shell casings and confirmed shots were fired into a vacant basement suite. Police say no one was injured in the occupied upper part of the house.
Police believe the shooting was targeted but not related to the string of extortion shootings in Metro Vancouver.
Investigators are seeking any information or video footage at or around the time of the shooting. Anyone with information, including video or dash-cam footage is asked to call Delta police at 604-946-4444.
