Two youths have been taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition after a stabbing in Aldergrove Friday afternoon.

The incident appears to have been targeted with no risk to the public.

A photo shared by the RCMP shows police tape stretched across the parking lot of a business in the area.

Police say this is unrelated to a stabbing that took place in Langley on Thursday.

“We recognize that two stabbing incidents occurring on consecutive days are understandably concerning for the community,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.

“Police can confirm that today’s incident is not related to the stabbing reported yesterday.”

Soon after 4 p.m., officers from Langley RCMP’s Special Response Team’s investigation allowed them to arrest three male youths and one adult male in connection with this incident. All four males remain in police custody.

“From the moment this incident was reported, officers acted immediately to locate those responsible,” said Sgt. Sharoom. “This rapid response was the result of coordinated and quick actions of our frontline and specialized units.”

Anyone with information about Friday’s incident is asked to call the RCMP at 604-532-3200 and refer to file number 2026-11649.
