One man was stabbed to death in Vancouver on Thursday in what police say is the city’s third homicide of the year.

Vancouver police said it happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. near East Hastings Street and Dunlevy Avenue.

The man, who has been identified as 36-year-old Matthew MacFarlane, was taken to hospital where he later died, according to police.
No arrests have been made.
