Just after 9 p.m., officers from the Surrey Police Service were called about shots fired between two vehicles, a black and a white sedan, near the intersection of 105th Avenue and University Drive.

Shell casings were found in the area, and witnesses said the white car might have had damage to its windshield on the driver’s side. Neither vehicle has been found and there are no reported injuries.

Investigators were expected to be in the area again Sunday canvassing for physical and video evidence.

Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said it’s unknown what led to the confrontation.
