Residence damaged in early morning shooting in Surrey

A residence in the Surrey City Centre neighbourhood was damaged in an early morning targeted shooting on Thursday.

Shortly after 6 a.m., there were reports of gunshots outside a residence near 96th Avenue and 133A Street.
Police found damage caused by gunfire to the exterior of the residence. Police say the house was occupied at the time of the shots-fired but no one was injured.
Police say the shooting is believed to be targeted.
