On Saturday, TransLink saw its largest ridership for a BC Place event since the 2010 Olympics.
Thousands of fans took transit to get to the FIFA World Cup match at BC Place and the FIFA Fan Festival at the PNE.

Over the whole TransLink system, there were more than one million boardings and about 648,200 trips. Approximately a 19 per cent increase on trips compared to a typical Saturday.
Trips around BC Place hit historical levels, with stations that serve the stadium having the highest Saturday event-day ridership since the 2010 Olympics. Ridership even surpassed both Taylor Swift’s Saturday Eras Tour concert and the Lionel Messi match at BC Place.
The SkyTrain saw an increase of 25 per cent boardings for a Saturday.
The SeaBus saw the highest percentage of increase, up more than 37 per cent.
