The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) has not confirmed the reason for the closure.

Photos from the scene show at least two BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) ambulances.

“One patient was treated at the scene and transported to hospital in stable condition,” BC EHS said in a written statement to CityNews.

The images also show a northbound travelling TransLink bus at the intersection surrounded by a police vehicle.

CityNews has reached out to the VPD and BC EHS.
