A senior is in stable condition after an incident on a Coast Mountain Bus in Vancouver on Tuesday morning. 

Around 10 a.m., Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) and the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) were called to a bus near Hastings Street and the Kootenay bus loop.

According to MVTP, when they arrived on the scene, they found a senior suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to the hospital by BC Emergency Health Services. 

There are currently no suspects in custody or a suspect description as police continue to investigate.
