Langley RCMP were called to the scene of a collision between an SUV and a commercial truck at 208th Street and 16th Avenue. 

At about 12:50 p.m., Township of Langley Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service, and RCMP all responded to the crash, police say.

“One individual was airlifted to a local area hospital in critical condition,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. 

“The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to assist with the investigation.”

The RCMP reports that there are road closures in the area that are expected to be in place for several hours while police investigate.
