Two people on the run wanted in connection with the death of an Ottawa man were last seen on opposite coasts of the country.

Provincial police have a Canada-wide warrant out for the arrest of two men charged with the second-degree murder of Christo Allison Richards. The 34-year-old was found with life-threatening injuries in Last Duel Park, in Perth, Ont., west of the nation’s capital, on April 12.

He was rushed to hospital, where he later died.

Police laid charges against Michael Lewis, 46, of Perth, with conspiracy to commit murder and Lyna Du, 32, in Ottawa, with accessory after the fact to murder. 

Two other people have been evading police for three months. Officers have been trying to track them down, and they now believe they were spotted in other provinces.

Officials currently believe one of their suspects, Joseph Madore, 34, is currently in B.C. and may be travelling through or camping in remote backcountry areas. They say he has connections to Richmond, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Terrace.

The second wanted man, Brayton Kennedy, 28, was last seen in the Moncton, N.B., area. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Police are asking anyone that has seen them or knows where they are to call 911 and not approach them.

Members of the OPP worked with the RCMP to search a rural property near Terrace, B.C., that is connected to the case in Perth. Two firearms were seized.
