Police were notified just after 8 a.m. of the incident near a residence in the area of 74 Avenue and 184 Street.

The victim was already travelling to hospital for treatment and the suspect or suspects had fled the area, according to the Surrey Police Service.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting but not extortion related.
