A woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant was taken into custody Monday night, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says.
The VPD says it was alerted to the woman’s whereabouts by a tip from the public.
Kelly Renee Stonechild was wanted for violating her probation conditions for a manslaughter charge, say police.

She was seen around Clark Drive and East 12th Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
Police say she did not comply at first when they attempted to arrest her.
Officers used a police dog to take her into custody.
Stonechild is currently in custody for a violation of conditions.
