The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says a man has been charged after an investigation into internet child exploitation.
Investigators say they began looking into reports of alleged possession and accessing of child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM) in May 2025.
In August 2025, police executed a search warrant at a Surrey home, the SPS says.
“During the course of the investigation, investigators located over 14,000 CSAEM images and videos,” police said in a news release.
Charges against a 37-year-old man were approved last week, including possession and accessing of CSAEM.
The man was arrested Aug. 6 and released with conditions, the SPS says. He is expected in court Aug. 27.
