West Kelowna RCMP are asking witnesses to come forward as they investigate an alleged kidnapping and aggravated assault that took place earlier this week.

Police say the incident happened on the evening of Aug. 25 between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. at the Chevron gas station on Industrial Road near Stevens Road.

Investigators believe there were a number of people in the area at the time and are hoping to speak with anyone who may have seen what happened but has not yet contacted police.

RCMP are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed an altercation between two men, saw a man being forced into a grey BMW, or observed the BMW leaving the area.

Police are also seeking any dash-cam or cellphone video that may have captured the incident or the vehicle involved.
