District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue says crews were called out to Deep Cove Wednesday evening to battle a blaze at a waterfront home on Strathcona Road near Strathcona Place.
In a social media post shortly before 8 p.m., the department said it was on the scene and posted pictures of crews fighting the fire.
About an hour later, it posted an update, saying the blaze was under control and that crews remained at the site.
