Police in Surrey are asking anyone with dash-camera footage of a serious crash between a Honda Civic and a semi-truck to contact them.

They say officers responded to the crash at the intersection of 176 Street and 32 Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on Sept. 18.

The Surrey Police Service say they provided emergency medical treatment to the driver and lone occupant of the Honda Civic until paramedics arrived, and she was transported to hospital with critical injuries.

They say the driver of the semi-truck and trailer appeared uninjured, and while the investigation is in its early stages, alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
