The public hearing into allegations of police misconduct surrounding the death of Myles Gray is set to resume on Sept. 28 and continue over the following months.

The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner (OPCC) will hold the proceedings at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Robson Square at 800 Robson Street in downtown Vancouver. 

All sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the following dates:  

• September 28-29 (Room C440)
• October 1 (Room C440)
• October 13-16 (Room C575)
• November 16-19 (Room C575)
• November 30-Dec 2 (Room C575)
• December 16 and 18 (Room C440)

The OPCC states that additional hearing dates may be scheduled to address requests from respondent members to use their prior testimony from the coroner’s inquest.

Any changes to the listed dates and times will be announced. on the OPCC website.  

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Proceedings will also be audio streamed on the OPCC website.

The OPCC will not comment while the public hearing is underway.
