The Chilliwack RCMP executed search warrants at two residences on Victor Street which resulted in the seizure of drugs, cash and a gun.

RCMP say the investigation started after receiving information about a home on Victor Street. Further information gathered by police led to search warrants for two additional homes.

On Sept. 17, Chilliwack RCMP, and the Crime Reduction Unit, executed the warrants.

Police found 23 people at the homes, who were detained and later released, except for two people who had existing warrants for their arrest. 

The search of the homes resulted in seizures of suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, money and a gun.

Both homes were inspected by Chilliwack Bylaw who put “No Occupancy” notices on the properties to hopefully deter people from returning.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
