The Langley RCMP says it is investigating after a shooting left one person injured early Monday morning.

Police say they were called out to the area of 205 Street and 35 Avenue shortly after midnight.

The victim was taken to hospital, Mounties say.

“Investigators believe that this is a targeted and an isolated incident,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.

“Our officers will remain in the area today to canvas for video surveillance and potential witnesses to further the investigation.”
