Officials with the City of Vancouver have reported another record-high number of people who showed up to cast their ballots on the third day of advance voting.

On Saturday, 27,748 people voted across Vancouver. This is double the number from the third day of advance voting in 2022, said the City in a social media post.

“With more than 74,000 advance voters so far this election, turnout has surpassed total advance voting in 2022,” the post from the city said. “Voters reported quick visits to voting places, making it easy to stop in and vote while enjoying their weekend plans.”

The final day of advance voting is Tuesday, Oct. 13, and election day is Oct. 17.
