A Canadian flag flew high between two fire trucks Wednesday as a police motorcade escorted the remains of Pte. Aidan Goulding from Vancouver International Airport.
Goulding was one of four members of the Canadian Armed Forces who lost their lives during a fast-growing grass fire at CFB Wainwright in Alberta on Oct. 17.
The 23-year-old from North Vancouver had just completed basic occupational training in August, according to his social media.

Firefighters, Vancouver police, and RCMP officers saluted as the motorcade made its way to a funeral home in New Westminster.
The body of Pte. Hyden Lykkemark of Langley will be flown home next Monday.

Funeral processions for Goulding will be held this Sunday, where his family and commanding officers from his unit are expected to make remarks.
