Police are investigating Monday after reports of shots fired overnight at a high-rise apartment in Surrey’s City Centre.
The Surrey Police Service says it responded to the apartment on 136A Street near 96 Avenue shortly after midnight.

Officers reportedly detained an unspecified number of people who were inside, though they have since been released.
“It is believed that shots were fired both inside the suite and outside on a balcony,” said the SPS, adding that no one was reported injured.
Police say the motive for the shooting is now under investigation.
