On Nov. 8, officers were called to a house on 32nd Avenue near 170th Street, where they confirmed the outside of the residence was damaged by gunshots.
Four days later, officers responded to possible shots fired at the same home.

On Dec. 8, the task force announced that 21-year-old Avtar Singh had been charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm in relation to the events.
On Friday, police say Singh has additionally been charged with extortion.
The two other men — 28-year-old Sandeep Singh and 24-year-old Jagdeep Singh — have both been charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm and extortion.
All three are foreign nationals, the RCMP says. Avtar Singh and Sandeep Singh are in custody.
The RCMP in Alberta has issued a Canada-wide warrant for Jagdeep Singh in connection with extortion-related incidents in that province. He is also wanted by the Canada Border Services Agency on an immigration warrant.

Jagdeep Singh is described as 5’10” tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the RCMP.
