The Langley RCMP says that it has located two bodies on Monday near the intersection of 16 Avenue and 208th Street in Langley.

In a written statement, Sgt. Zynal Sharoom says that officers received “a report of a suspicious incident” in the area around 11 a.m.

Together with the Township of Langley Fire Department and BC Ambulance Services, Mounties arrived at the scene and located the bodies.

An investigation has been launched, and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called to the scene.

The RCMP has taped off the area and says that traffic disruptions are to be expected.

Investigators have not released any additional information and have asked the public to contact police at 1-877-551-4448 if they have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.
