Police in Delta are seeking more witnesses after a fatal crash at the beginning of the month.

The Delta Police Department (DPD) says officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of 75A Avenue and 118 Street around 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 2.

Paramedics reportedly provided medical care to six patients at the scene.

“Several occupants were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and sadly, the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene,” said Sgt. Mike Whiteley in a written statement.

In an update Tuesday, the DPD says three injured youths have since been released from hospital and are expected to recover.

“The occupants of the white Tesla involved in the collision have also been released from the hospital.”

Police say the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

While thanking people who have already come forward with information, the department says it is hoping to hear from the driver or occupants of a black Tesla vehicle pictured driving near by at the time.

It shared an image of the vehicle which features yellow and grey stripes and a logo decal.
