Two men are facing additional charges connected to an extortion-related shooting in Surrey earlier this year.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it responded to a residence on 87A Avenue near 134 Street around 12:40 a.m. on April 22.

Officers confirmed damage to the home and a vehicle.
“Although the residence was occupied at the time of the shooting, thankfully, no one was injured,” said an SPS statement at the time.
That day, the SPS Extortion Response team took over investigating.
In an update last month, police said investigators had since carried out a search warrant in Surrey, resulting in the arrest of two men.
Twenty-two-year-old Damanjeet Singh and 30-year-old Pardaman Singh, both foreign nationals, were charged with one count each of discharging a firearm into a place knowing or being reckless as to whether someone was present, and possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without a licence.
In an update Monday, the SPS says the BC Prosecution Service has approved five more charges against each man.

Both suspects remain in custody. The younger is expected in court Tuesday. The elder is expected in court on June 16.
