The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) is currently investigating a collision after a serious crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV Wednesday afternoon.
According to AbbyPD, officers were called to the intersection of George Ferguson Way and Gladys Avenue at approximately 3:56 p.m.
Police say the motorcyclist suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. The condition of the SUV driver has not been released.
The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called in to assist with the investigation.
As of 6 p.m., the intersection remained closed in all directions while investigators examined the scene and worked to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision.
