A man was found dead following an RV fire in Surrey early Sunday morning, authorities say.
Surrey Fire Services Asst. Chief Mike McNamara says crews were called to the travel trailer, located in the area of 94 Avenue and 184 Street, around 7 a.m.
When they arrived, they found the RV engulfed in flames. Upon entry, they found the deceased man, McNamara says.
He says the trailer was parked behind a house, which suffered minimal heat damage from the flames.
Police say the cause of the fire is unknown, and the Surrey Police Service (SPS) Arson Investigation Support Team is working with the coroner to determine if the death is suspicious.
