The RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in an alleged fraud case.
On Sept. 22, around 9:18 a.m., police were called to a home in the Fleetwood neighbourhood.
The victim told RCMP SPOSU that the suspect had attended his residence the evening before to purchase his black 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Police say that the victim alleges he was given a fake bank draft and shown fake identification in relation to the sale.
The suspect is a man, about 30-years-old, five-foot-eight-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a green shirt and black pants.
RCMP SPOSU asks anyone with information on the suspect should contact Surrey Police Services at 604-599-0502 and reference file number 26-29409 (SU).
