Seven RVs and two semi trucks were destroyed by a fire in a Mission storage yard on Thursday evening.
Mission Fire Rescue Service (MFRS) were called to a storage yard at the north end of Durieu Street just after 9 p.m. for several derelict RVs engulfed in flames.
A statement from MFRS stated that many of the RVs had to be towed away from each other to extinguish the fire.
“We don’t believe any of the RVs were occupied at the time of the fire,” read the statement from Deputy Chief Nick Rychkun.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and an investigation is underway.
