A constable with the BC RCMP Major Crime section has been charged with accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAM) and breach of trust, shared the BC Prosecution Service on Tuesday.
Cst. Graham James Love was charged with the offences dating between February 2023 and May 2025 in Port Coquitlam.
His first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 18.
Staff Sgt. Kris Clark, senior media relations officer with the RCMP E division told CityNews that Cst. Love has been suspended with pay since August 2025, when they were informed of the investigation.
“Immediately upon learning of the allegations in August 2025, a criminal code investigation was initiated and conducted by an outside RCMP unit. A parallel Code of Conduct investigation was also initiated and remains ongoing.”
Clark also said that Love’s duty status is subject to a continuous review and assessment.
