Findlay lays out the differences between liberals and conservatives: “B.C. Liberals voted for DRIPA. B.C. Liberals created SOGI in schools. B.C. Liberals created the carbon tax. And the B.C. Liberals voted to condemn and smear the Freedom Convoy. Let me be clear: Liberals are not taking over our Conservative party. Not on my watch.”

Findlay served in cabinet in Stephen Harper’s government and was the chief opposition whip under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre. She says as leader she will unite the B.C. party and put forward an election platform in keeping with Conservative views.
