The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says it has arrested a suspect who allegedly stabbed two men at Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain Station on Saturday.
Police were called to the area shortly after 6 p.m. after receiving 911 calls reporting the incident, which appeared to have taken place in the bus bay.

“Police arrived at the scene and discovered the victims, who were both bleeding after allegedly getting into a physical altercation on the bus with an unknown suspect,” the VPD said.
Both men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect reportedly left the scene in an Evo rental vehicle before they arrived. He was found and arrested shortly afterward near Joyce Street and East 41st Avenue.
Images from the scene, provided by residents in the neighbourhood, showed police cruisers and ambulances located at the Vanness Avenue side of the station.
Edison, one resident living across the station on Vanness Avenue, told 1130 NewsRadio on Saturday that he saw an “assault that had taken place” at around 6:30 p.m.

“It looked like it spilled out from a parked R4 bus, and then it spilled out onto the bus loop area,” he said.
Edison adds that he saw at least a dozen police officers and four ambulances arriving.
The VPD is recommending charges against a 30-year-old man in connection with the incident. He remains in custody until his next court hearing April 30.
