The Delta Police Department (DPD) says it is sharing new information to advance its investigation into a suspicious death.
Last week, police reported the discovery of a deceased woman and a fire in an industrial area. Officers were called to a field on River Road, south of Westminster Highway, shortly after 6 a.m. Aug. 26. They then appealed to the public for more information.
“Investigators would like to thank the members of the public who have already come forward with information and video footage,” the DPD said in a news release Tuesday.
Once again, police are turning to the public, this time looking for the driver or owner of a white Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, who may have information that could assist the investigation.
Police have not released any information on the woman’s identity.
Officers are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the Tilbury area between just before midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 26, to contact the Delta Police Department at 604-946-4444 and reference file 26-16041.
